Panna Tiger Reserve is a tiger habitat located in the Panna and Chhatarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh. The park was declared a Tiger Reserve in the year 1994 as the twenty-second Tiger Reserve in India and fifth in Madhya Pradesh. Panna is home to over 90 tigers, other wildlife animals and more than 200 species of birds including the king vulture, Indian vulture and bar-headed goose.

Dudhwa Tiger Reserve is a protected area, located in the district of Lakhimpur Kheri, along the Indo-Nepal border. In 1958, the area was declared a wildlife sanctuary and by 1977, the sanctuary was upgraded to a national park. The park was also declared a tiger reserve in 1988. 135 tigers call Dudhwa their home. The reserve is known for its rich biodiversity, with a variety of flora and fauna, including the Indian rhinoceros, swamp deer, leopard, birds and around 180 species of butterflies.

Tipeshwar Tiger Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary, nestled in the Pandarkawada region, in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, is a largely unexplored national park. The sanctuary derives its name from the nearby 'Goddess Tipai' shrine located in the Tipeshwar village. The sanctuary is home to 20 tigers, 25 species of mammals, 125 species of birds and 22 species of amphibians and reptiles.

The Serengeti National Park is located in northern Tanzania. Established in as national park in 1940, the park is continuous with the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The landscape is varied, becoming the ideal home for the African bush elephant, African leopards, giraffes, hippopotamus and over 500 species of birds. The Great Migration occurs here along with the Masaai Mara. The national park is also home to the largest lion population in Africa, numbering around 3000.

The Maasai Mara is a wildlife sanctuary located in Kenya. Named in the honour of the local Maasai tribe, it was originally established in 1961. All members of the "Big Five" – lions, African leopards, African bush elephants, African buffaloes and black rhinoceros can be seen here. More than 500 bird species have been sighted in the park. The Great Migration happens here involving 1.3 million blue wildebeest, 500000 Thomson's gazelles, 97000 topi, 18000 common elands, and 200000 Grant's zebras.

Along the river Brahmaputra in the heart of Assam, Kaziranga National park is one of the last remaining areas in eastern India undisturbed by a human presence. Marked as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is home to over 2200 one-horned rhinoceros, almost 2/3rd of the world’s population. The park is also the breeding ground of over 140 tigers, making it a tiger reserve. Elephants, wild water buffalo, sambars and swamp deer inhabit the thick evergreen forests.

Bandhavgarh National Park is spread over the Vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh. The name comes from ‘Bandhav’ meaning brother and ‘Garh’ meaning fort, a gift from Rama to Lakshman after the war in Lanka Bandhavgarh National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers. The density of tigers hovers at 50. It is also believed that all the white tigers across the globe trace their roots to Bandhavgarh.
